Facilitators of the presence of God.
To facilitate simply means to make a process easier. Our Valor Band (stylized VLR Band) is formed of students in SAGU Valor that strive to make encountering the presence of God easier for everyone in the room. From small groups, to large events, encounter and excellence are our two highest priorities.
Our VLR Band leads worship for our school chapels every week. Beyond that, the VLR Band gets the opportunity to travel to other churches to play at youth services, conferences, weekend services, and other events throughout the school year.
During the summer, our band gets a lot of real life experience by playing several church camps. In the summer of 2017 they did camps in Georgia, Virginia, and Texas.
